Product Design
As Director, I led the development of a comprehensive design system for the Global eCommerce Platform (GEP), driving both the creative product vision and the strategic user-centered framework solution.
Working end-to-end across the product suite, I partnered with the Product Lead and key stakeholders to implement design thinking frameworks through focused sprints, encompassing strategy development, competitive analysis, and iterative design execution from wireframing to high fidelity visual layout development and prototyping.
My co-oversight ensured alignment between UX strategy, product design, and visual quality assurance, resulting in cohesive core product features like global navigation, search, home page, catalog listing pages, product listing and description pages, progressive personalization intake processes, enhanced account dashboards, client-branded landing pages, and editorial blog pages.
In collaboration with digital agency Code and Theory, I oversaw the creation of research-driven design patterns and component libraries that powered key user journeys. Through continuous discovery methods like usability testing and user behavior analysis, we refined solutions based on quantitative and qualitative data, resulting in measurable improvements in task completion rates and conversion.
By fostering cross-functional collaboration and maintaining consistent feedback loops between design, product, and development teams, I ensured all initiatives aligned with both business objectives and user needs while maintaining best-in-class experience standards.
